Welcome Back to the Library

Its a funny sort of week.  Madeleine and I are back in the library, among the books, but there are no children in the library!!
We decided to share some library ideas and challenges you might like to try in your bubbles.

The Domino Chain Challenge

Watch the video of the book domino chain record.
Challenge:
Can you create a domino chain out of things you have at home?  You could use lego, dominos, blocks or cards.

Draw your own "I Spy" picture.

The 'I Spy' books are very popular in our library.
Watch the video to see how they are made.
Challenge:
Can you draw an 'I Spy' picture?
Find different objects around your home to add to your picture.  This one was drawn by my daughter, Portia, when she was at primary school.

What Books Have You Been Reading at Home?

Cathy has been reading"Wings of Fire - The Dragonet Prophecy" by Tui T. Sutherland.  This is the first book in this series and if you like dragons you will enjoy these books.
We would love to hear about all the wonderful books you are reading or re reading in your bubble.
You can contact us at: librarytwo@hameast.school.nz
